The Window ©

Early morning light outlines the curves of your body.
The timid sunshine embraces every inch of you,
while darkness disguises the exquisite areas,
and fuzzy gray describes the rest of you.

From not too far, I contemplate you.
I see the gift that it is in you,
the one that is surreal and vivacious,
the one that devours me and it is mysterious.

Having you here, is all I can think of
now that the morning light can feel you.
But the night was ours, and we were delirious,
the night was ours, and I was beneath you.

From not too far, I contemplate you.
The smirk on your face is not deceitful;
but the silence sedates the air,
while injuring the dreams of this sinful.

Having you here, is all I can think of
now that the light distinct you;
because from not too far, I can see you.
I see the distance grow and the morning steal you.
